The short version: if something arrives damaged, the wrong item turns up, or your blind develops a fault, we&#8217;ll sort it out. We stand behind every blind we make.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If your order arrives damaged or incorrect<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We pack every order carefully, but transit damage and packing mistakes do happen from time to time. If your order arrives damaged or you&#8217;ve received the wrong item, let us know within 14 days of delivery and we&#8217;ll make it right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To help us move quickly, send through:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your order number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A few photos of the issue (and the outer packaging if it&#8217;s transit damage)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A short description of what&#8217;s wrong<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Email <a href=\"mailto:sales@coverlight.au\">sales@coverlight.au<\/a> and we&#8217;ll come back to you within one to two business days with the next step, whether that&#8217;s a replacement, repair or refund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If your blind develops a fault<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every Coverlight DIY blind is covered by our 5 year product warranty, with up to 10 years on selected fabrics. The full terms, what&#8217;s covered and what&#8217;s not, are on our <a href=\"https:\/\/coverlight.au\/diy\/warranty\/\">warranty page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you think you have a warranty claim, email <a href=\"mailto:sales@coverlight.au\">sales@coverlight.au<\/a> with your order number and a description of the issue. We&#8217;ll review it and let you know the next step. Where a claim is approved we&#8217;ll repair or replace the blind at no cost to you, subject to delivery and redelivery charges in line with the warranty terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Change of mind, wrong size or wrong colour<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because every blind is cut, sewn and assembled to the measurements and finishes you supply at the time of order, we&#8217;re not able to accept returns for change of mind, incorrect measurements, or a different colour or fabric choice. This is consistent with Australian Consumer Law for made-to-measure goods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before you order, we recommend:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Following our <a href=\"https:\/\/coverlight.au\/diy\/diy-measuring-guide\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"1511\">measuring guide<\/a> carefully, and double-checking every measurement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ordering a fabric sample if you&#8217;re unsure about colour or texture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Getting in touch if you have any questions, we&#8217;re happy to help you choose<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few minutes spent here can save a lot of hassle later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What&#8217;s not covered<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In line with our warranty, returns and claims aren&#8217;t accepted for issues caused by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Incorrect measurements supplied at the time of order<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Installation that doesn&#8217;t follow our installation guide<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Normal wear and tear, sun fade or loss of colour intensity over time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Misuse, modification, improper handling or alterations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pet or insect damage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exposure to moisture or salt air beyond the product&#8217;s stated use<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cracking or yellowing of plastic parts caused by long-term sun exposure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Return shipping<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If a return is approved, we&#8217;ll let you know where to send the blind. You&#8217;re responsible for return shipping costs unless we&#8217;ve agreed otherwise in writing. If you&#8217;re sending a blind back, we recommend using a tracked service, as we can&#8217;t be responsible for items lost in transit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Getting in touch<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For anything to do with returns, refunds or warranty claims, email <a href=\"mailto:sales@coverlight.au\">sales@coverlight.au<\/a> with your order number and we&#8217;ll point you in the right direction.
