Here&#8217;s how we handle them.<\/p><p><strong>Winder handles (cranks)<\/strong><br>If your window has a protruding winder handle, there are a couple of options:<\/p><ol><li><strong>Recess mount, overroll design.<\/strong> This is ideal for winder handles, as it only requires 25mm clearance at the bottom, though it does need 65mm clearance at the top.<\/li><li><strong>Recess mount, underroll design.<\/strong> If you don&#8217;t have the full 65mm at the top but still want the recess look, the underroll design lets the headbox sit out 20mm from the recess. This gives less protrusion into the room than a full face fit.<\/li><li><strong>Face fit with clearance.<\/strong> Mount the Coverlight blind as a face fit, positioned far enough from the glass to clear the winder handle. This means the blind sits further forward, but still delivers full blackout performance.<\/li><\/ol><p><strong>Locks and latches<\/strong><br>Standard window locks that sit flat against the frame are generally not an issue. Protruding locks or deadbolt-style mechanisms may require a face fit for clearance.<\/p><p><strong>Sensors and security contacts<\/strong><br>Window security sensors are usually thin enough to sit within the gap between the glass and the blind without interfering with the side tracks.
